COVID-19: Deaths Each Day Compared to Other Causes



On 8 April 2020, was responsible for the deaths of 1,940 people in the US. So, how does that compare with other causes of death?

On average,129 individuals die by suicide each day in the US.

During the same period, another 333 die because of Alzheimer’s disease.

Heart disease takes another 1,774.
